  • Overview

Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia (CLL) is a relatively rare disease, with less than one percent of patients at risk of developing it and the median age being 70. Additionally, these patients could be at a higher risk of secondary cancers and comorbidities. However, there have been improvements in patient outcomes with CLL, but more work needs to be done. To learn more about the epidemiology of CLL, challenges and barriers, approaches to better patient management, and a look ahead, join Dr. Jennifer Caudle as she takes a deep dive with Dr. Adam Kittai, Associate Professor at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai New York, where he's also the Assistant Director of Lymphoma Clinical Research and CLL Clinical Research Leader.
